Logitech Webcam Recommended Settings

When using a Logitech webcam, we recommend that you disable RightLight and auto-focus features. You will need to have already installed the Logitech Webcam Software application to perform these tasks. If you do not have the Logitech Webcam Software, please visit http://support.logitech.com/en-us/category/webcams-and-security to find your webcam and download the software.
  1. Make sure your webcam is not already in use;
  2. Open your Logitech Webcam Software application;
  3. Click "Quick Capture" to activate your webcam;
  4. Click the "Controls" button;
  5. Uncheck "RightLight" (older software calls this "Low Light Compensation");
  6. Uncheck "Auto-focus";
  7. Manually adjust the focus slider bar until you're in focus (usually requires moving the slider toward the "mountain" icon rather than the "flower" icon);
  8. At the top of the screen, click "Main Menu", then close the Logitech Webcam Software application.
To find your Logitech webcam's model number, open your Logitech Webcam software. The software's main page should list your model number. You can also find your model number by matching your webcam to the proper photo in the link, below:
